You are the BOSS!

Your “boss” at work is simply a person who has a higher title in your organization’s hierarchy than you do. 

It doesn’t mean that they have a say, or control over any other area of your life! Or that how they feel about you as a person, is important! 

It’s easy to forget that “work” is only one part of your life, and that the people you interact with there, including your boss, are just that! People! 

They have their own experiences, opinions and backgrounds…and they only have any kind of “power” over you if you let them! 

So….

If your boss doesn’t “like you”…that is okay! You don't need to care!

If your boss doesn’t agree with your values and beliefs, that is okay! You don't need to care!

They are just a person who you work with! 

You are in control of who you allow to influence you and your life! The only one who is “the boss of you”….is….YOU!
